Buddiup provides individual mentoring and supports to help participants play an active part in their community, with a continued focus on healthy lifestyle choices. Our team is made up of all males to develop a ‘big brother’ relationship, helping our participants develop capacity and reach their goals.

Developing Individual Capability

We believe that the best outcome for participants is to build their own capability. We love to learn what goals our participants are working towards and provide the support necessary to achieve these. We encourage our participants to make healthy lifestyle choices and continually develop new skills and interests.

Increasing Community Participation

We place enormous value on community and relationships. We love to help our participants enjoy all that their community has to offer through social outings, volunteering, community sport and other community activities.

Helping to attend Buddiup Programs

We know it can sometimes be hard for parents and carers to get our athletes to our programs. If you require assistance in attending any of our programs, we have Support Workers that can assist with transport and also play an active role to ensure athletes are having fun and actively participating.

Pricing and Claiming

Buddiup is a non-registered provider, which allows us to provide services to self and plan managed participants.

Activity is invoiced as 04_104_0125_6_1 - Access Community Social and Rec Activ - Standard.

Buddiup travels up to 30 minutes from our head office in West Perth. Travel time is charged one way when shifts start and finish from the participant’s home.

Rates (as of Monday 1st July 2024)

• Weekday Community: $67.56 per hour

• Weeknight: $74.44 per hour

• Saturday: $95.07 per hour

• Sunday: $122.59 per hour

• Public Holidays : $150.10 per hour

• Transport: $1.00 per kilometre

Key information

• Minimum 2 hour shift duration

• Shifts cancelled within 24 hours will be charged as per agreement

• Charges are exempt from GST as an NDIS claimed service

• Services are invoiced fortnightly, in arrears
